Bad Boi Bad Boi...

Watcha gonna do?
Watcha gonna do when he comes for you?

A to the Dam has arrived and once again it takes less than a few hours for us all to realise that actually nothing has changed and have we really been apart for 10 months?!

Unfortunately Gemizzle had to frequent her place of work a little to regularly in the first few days of Bad Boi's stay but I am pleased to announce that tour guide/nasty girl Amyizzle stepped up and showed Bad Boi the sights and sounds of the city - in between his six and a half hourly naps of course :) As far as I am aware...and they have the photos to prove it - they managed to sightsee despite the overcastness and rain.

Having had withdrawal symptoms from the bitterly cold and windy British winter (Dads and men alike - we hope all your fences are still standing!) we visited the bar made of ice in Sydney called Minus 5...you spend 30 minutes exploring this bar made completely of ice...even the glasses you drink from are!! On the other hand you may spend the entire 30 minutes watching your pager and hoping it is going to off sooner rather than later indicating you may leave the room - what can I say, sometimes Bad Boi's are a little sensitive to the cold I guess :) Where's your hat again Adam!?

We ate some pizza, Gemizzle had a Marco Polo, Amyizzle had a Papa Grande and Bad Boi had a Aloe Haa (an Aloha in non-bad boi speak). As ever the Australian folk never fail to amuse with what seemed like a massage class going on in the middle of the bar and the the waitress actually believing we had ordered a fourth pizza. This was in fact for Alison who was at the time on her way from the SLip Inn to the SHip Inn to meet us - a little bit of confusion in the midst of all the chaos.

Oh, by the way City Road folk - Adam has some interesting photos from Bangkok...the slideshow this time around will be a fun one :)

Hey girls, Have just spent the past hour or two engrossed in your fabby blog... much amusement on my first day back at work after being struck down with the lurgy TWICE since I got back from Down Under... Yes, that's right TWICE - once with the dreaded tonsilitus and once with an bleedin' awful cold. How unfair is that?! Think my body is telling me it prefers the Sydney sunshine, not the rain, snow and wind that has been battering London. Just as well I'm not in Scotland -- I'd have even more to complain about :) Anyhooooo, LOVING tales of your adventures... Take care... Big love X

Nice post there, Gemizzle to the Schnizzle Wizzle...Fizzle!

Glad that Operation Meet Up With The Girls went well for Adam over there in Australia. I hope it went as well in Bangkok too, and that it didn't turn into Operation Get The Heck Out Of Here Because Operation Meet Up With The Girls Has Turned Into Operation Meet Up With Someone That I Thought Was A Girl But Actually Turned Out To Be a Guy. That would have been a disaster!

I'm looking forward to seeing these photos. I'm guessing a lot of the ones that Bad Boi has taken so far would be classed as Offensive on Flickr, so maybe we'll have to wait until he returns to his home land.

I'm at work. I'm having a busy day. Once upon a time, my days at Norwich Union consisted of doing very little inbetween emailing Adam, as he was the only person I could email because NU hadn't given me external email access. Now, though, I'm super busy, and can't email Adam because he's not here. But I do have external email access, so that's good, but I'm just still too busy.

This weekend will probably be a quiet one as Kit is off to Skegness for some Blues Festival of sorts and John is working. DJ will probably be sleeping, so I'll just....keep Adam's bed warm or something. Like you say, he's quite suceptable to the cold, and we don't want him catching a chill once he's back.

Laters my squizzle zizzles!

The Slip-Inn?! What sort of a name for a pub is that? Sounds like a discreet sanitary pad.

I can top that tho' - we drove past a pub yesterday called the "Lincolshite Nailer" - sounded like a serial rapist to me but then maybe I should be worried about my own mind rather than the name of the pub ;-)

Mmmm... a Papa Grande. That sounds like my kind of pizza! :-) Ahh 'tis true I was at Butlins in Skegness for three whole joyous days and nights. They had all-you-can-eat buffet PAPA JOHNS!! That's right - £6.25 for all the Papa J's that you can handle. In my hungover state on Sunday lunchtime I hardly did it justice, but did pack down two platefuls.

xx for the girls and a kick in the butt to Adam ;-) See ya.
